Weekly routine, dinner rotation and review

The weekly loop as a checklist with a day and a person for each step, a two- to four-week dinner rotation, and the review sheet that sets each measured week beside your baseline. Seeded from your other sheets; everything you type stays in this browser.

For a first pass, the review is essential after Review and adjust: the baseline and the planned week side by side with one change. The routine and a two-week rotation are essential in Your kitchen system; a four-week rotation is optional.

Weekly routine

The steps in the order Your kitchen system sets. Give each a day and a person; tick it each week if that helps you keep track.

Dinner rotation

Two to four weeks of dinners from your meal list (Your kitchen system). Change it with the seasons.

Review

One row per measured week (Review and adjust). The first row comes from your baseline when the waste and spending sheets have one.

How to use these sheets

  • A day and a person for each step. The routine runs in the order Your kitchen system sets, from reading the thermometers to measuring the week's waste. Tick steps if that helps; the day and who columns are what make it a routine.
  • The rotation comes from the meal list. Two to four weeks of dinners, with leftover nights and pizza nights as rows. Change it with the seasons.
  • Review, then one change. Each measured week is a row. The change column holds one change for next week, matched to the top reason in the waste log (Review and adjust).
Fictional example

The starter rotation rows are the Grant household's (fictional): the chicken and rice bake on Monday, the leftover bake as burritos on Tuesday (soccer night, 15 minutes), pizza on Friday, and lentil soup on Monday of week 2.

Limits

The routine belongs to the household. This manual does not say how often is enough, how many meals a plan must cover, or what a household should spend, and one week against another does not prove a method works or failed.
